CONTACT Photography Festival - Marc Rochette and Daniel Dam

As a part of Contact Photo Festival Toronto 2026, Rapid Photo presents a two-person exhibition, with Marc Rochette and Daniel Dam.

Featuring live performers,

StoneAgeBoy, (@stoneageboyofficial) and Sabin (@sabinrzl_0)

Bringing together two different creative voices and generations, the exhibition spanned 10 days, from May 11th to May 22nd, with the reception held on May 11th at 6pm.

Daniel Dam’s (@daniel_story_teller on Instagram) portion of the exhibition is his series, “Between Stops”, reflecting on the quiet poetry of passing moments. The pauses, the waiting, and the in-betweens found within the busy city of Toronto.

Alongside it, Marc Rochette (or @photographartprints on Instagram) presents, “Cuba”, a series bringing visitors into the warmth, rhythm, and humanity of daily life in Cuba.

More than a simple exhibition, the space allowed for various photography communities within Toronto to connect with each other. The studio and exhibition then becomes more of a social gathering hub for neighbours, artists, vendors, musicians, and especially visitors.

Both photographers have been telling stories for many years, with Marc and Daniel having had separate exhibitions and publications, the joint exhibition for CONTACT photography festival was a lively and successful artistic collaboration.
